Netflix NFLX, +3.06 percent announced on Wednesday that it will buy the Roald Dahl Story Company, extending a three-year relationship to create a slate of animated TV episodes. "These projects opened our eyes to a much more ambitious venture --- the creation of a unique universe across animated and live action films and TV, publishing, games, immersive experiences, live theatre, consumer products and more," Ted Sarandos, co chief executive officer and chief content officer, and Luke Kelly, grandson of Roald Dahl and managing director of the Roald Dahl Story Company said in a blog post.
