Twitter Inc. said on its blog that it is nearing the introduction of its Super Follow feature. It will be available in three monthly subscription packages: $2.99, $4.99, and $9.99.
"Make a good first impression with a quick intro message for your Super Followers," Twitter said.
Users will receive a public Super Follower badge that "makes it easier to get noticed, chat, and connect," according to the company.
After Ticketed Spaces, Tip Jar for Spaces, and Twitter Blue, the move demonstrates Twitter's persistent focus on content monetization.
TWTR shares were up 1.60 percent at $65.54 in the most recent check on Wednesday.
